Don't Make Another Squidoo Lense Without SquidMagic!



Today, during the wee hours of the morning, I reviewed a product called SquidMagic by WF name “ddev”, also known as Diego.

My interest in this product goes without saying. SQUIDOO! Need I say more? Who wouldn't be interested in what this product has to offer. I mean really! Well...that is if you want to speed up the process and gain some insight into what keywords are getting more traffic.

Sure beats doing everything manually, provided that you are familiar with advanced keyword research.

If you create Squidoo lenses as another revenue stream or business model for your livelihood, then you understand.


Let's go back and take a look at the sales copy...


The first graphic says, “Don't Make another Squidoo Lens Without This Software. Otherwise, You May Get Little/No Results And Waste Your Time. Guaranteed.” Having used this product, I have to agree with that statement, whole-heartedly!

Like Blogger.com, Squidoo is a free, versatile platform, saving you domain registration and hosting fees, allowing you to promote your own products or products from your chosen affiliate programs.

“You Have To See If Other Squidoo Lenses Are Getting Traffic For The Keywords You Want To Target...Or Not.”

Again, after working with the software, I have to say this is definitely a valid statement and one that shouldn't be taken lightly!

What's great about this software is that not only do you become aware of whether you should develop lenses for Squidoo, but more importantly whether you shouldn't waste your time in doing so! That way, you can use your time on more productive and hopefully more profitable lenses or self-hosted sites.

Diego (ddev) says, “It's Like Having A Gold Detector In Your Hands.” Since, the software is geared to finding you the most profitable, targeted keywords that have proven to get traffic, then I'm inclined to agree that is where the gold originates.

You will notice when reading the sales page that he makes no over-exaggerated monetary claims at all. I like that! This is perhaps the most honest sales page that I've come across. That's saying something in my books!

The process of the software, Squid Magic, is so simple:

  • Input in your target keyword
  • Choose the number of results you want. You are allowed to choose either 10 or 20 results.  
    Notice: that will retrieve information from Google's Top 10. 
     
  • Click on Find Squidoo Lenses. Here's where the magic begins.
  • Scan traffic from selected lenses. Here's the GOLD!

Note: I'm not divulging any information that is not already discussed on the sales copy. So, there is no concern on my part about relinquishing privileged information and risk integrity to the product or owner.


SquidMagic:  Does it deliver the goods? Or is it just hype?

Diego is a breath of fresh air when it comes to his approach to selling his product. I'm not sure how much he sales suffer based upon his honesty, but he has my vote and want to see more products that he produces.

So, how did the download process go? How difficult was the setup?

The product was quick to download and easy to install.
I scanned the product for trojans and viruses, as I do with ALL products. No viruses or trojans found! Always a good sign.

The zip file contained the application/exe file. In addition to this, you receive a helpful 10 page pdf (users manual)to guide you through the process.

But really, the user's manual, is not needed for the software, as it is so simple to operate. However, it is helpful to gain some insight on what the results are telling you and how you might expand on your search.

Anyone can do it. Yes, even total beginners. In fact, this product is perfect for beginners, because they are the ones that need this type of information most.

SquidMagic takes the guess work and insecurities one faces to being successful out of the equation. Now, you have the same opportunities to replicate a successful lens.

But don't stop there! Visit the sites from the results you get and see how you can improve on them.

Keep in mind, I am not suggesting that you copy someone else's work. Instead, I am suggesting that you figure out how you can improve on the lens that they have been successfully with already. Create your own slant or twist that is uniquely yours.

My hope is that you will use this product in a positive way, and will gain much learning from it's use.
