Blogger Errors - Don't Let This Happen To YOU!
Today, as I was updating a previous post with additional information in the wee hours of the morning...I scrolled down the page, and the blogger editor page went blank! All of my previous work, namely eCommerce Mastery Review - Part 3 was, well, there is simply no other word for it:
Now, there is no way to get it back. So, as proof, I've gone to Google and there you will see where I was listed on page 1, along with my other two posts on the product, eCommerce Mastery - Part 3.
Unfortunately, against my better judgement, I didn't type the article in notepad or a word processing program, and it is not to be found. Never could I have ever imagined that this would happen like this.
Well, lesson learned. Never again!
Ok, I lied. I'm doing it again. I'm typing it directly into the blogger editor. It's like a bad disease. What is wrong with me? Did I not see what happens when don't follow my own good advise.
It's like asking for trouble!
More importantly, I know that when using a website that is not my own, that I should ALWAYS keep a copy of all my articles, in case the website owner should at any time decide to closed my site down!
So, the next time that your parent, friend, or mentor says,
Well, most of the time, it is good advise! Listen up, and make your own decision as to what you feel is best for you.
In the meantime, give serious consideration to doing things that will help you save time. Goodness knows, I would have been better off, had I just taken the extra few steps up front to ensure that I had a backup copy of my original article, "eCommerce Mastery Review - Part 3."
Just as I was finishing this article...er...my rant, Blogger isn't saving properly and an error message spreads out across the entire screen! I really hate Blogger sometimes! But at the same time, there are some advantages to using a Blogger blog.
